there are things in life we take for granted... the person sitting next to you in class, that you don't even say hi to or the person you see everyday driving to school, riding the bus... could you even tell me their name. simple things like that are things that you may regert...
jenna h. pratt, she was in allied health as a junior and i was a senior. we had run into eachother a few times, staying after class or on class fiel trips, but i can never remembering to say hello. i'm sure it happened, i can remember sitting next to her while she was taking a test because we were laughing about something. but i can't remember. its horrible to think one small encounter could make you feel so much sadness, and keep you awake at night just thinking about how she is not on this earth anymore. i can't even imagine what her family is going through. something so unexpected. so quick. it's just you never know. i wish i had taken more time to get to know her... set down my stuff and actually have a conversation with her.
so i'd like to say to everyone....
i love you. i will forever love you. i'm sorry if i have ever hurt anyone, and for those of you have hurt me, i forgive you. don't carry a burden with you. if there is anyone that i'm not good friends with... i'd like to change that. don't ever take life for granted. every day is a new opportunity. why complain about something as little as the toast burning, that D- you got the cookies not being perfect, the chores that haven't been done in who knows how long, the fact that you don't eat your vegtables or your homework is late the list could go on forever. be happy with the fact that you are able to smell the toast, that you can hear the wind, seeing the sky. it may sound corny but it's true. why can't we look at the positive? it may be hard to do that, but at least give it all you have. there are just some things that aren't worth complaining over, try to make it better, try and live your life better. what's it going to hurt... you may just brighten someone's day with a smile, or opening a door or saying hello to that person you sit next to. love the life you live and live the life you love.
